In the words of Randy Jackson, judge on American Idol, "It's not good, dawg." I just could not get into this storyline and had to force myself to finish it. I found Cassia, the main character, whiny and annoying. She wins the lottery accidentally and is mortified that she got money from "gambling." I would have rather seen her have a little fun spending some of it than whining about it the whole time.

I am a big chick-lit fan and do read and enjoy the occasional Christian chick-lit, but this had way too many Bible verses, etc., in it for me. The religion part was way overdone. Just not a good read for me!
