This is more a historical document than a useful text: in 1975, the state of the art in computers was the IBM System/370, PL/1, punch-card input, magnetic core memory, disk drives twice the size of a washing machine, printers twice the size of a disk drive, and the flowchart as a design tool. The term "personal computer" does not occur in this book. So if you want a book for serious learning, look elsewhere, but if you're old enough, this book might provide an afternoon's pleasant stroll down memory lane.
