This is a great series! I started with this one thinking it was the first but I think the book 'Closer' is either the first or a prequel to this series. There's a lot of action going on; a group of Delta soldiers and civilians uncovered a government plot to manufacture a chemical agent that would wipe out entire villages/countries and were in hiding trying to develop the antidote and find proof to bring those responsible to justice and to clear their names. The sex scenes are there too but didn't occur til about halfway through the book. This is the story of vince and kate..vince (a homicide detective) lost a good friend and discovers kate(was the financial wizard who discoverd something was wrong but is currently stocking a bar in the room where a murder occurred) was working in the room that day and needs her statement which she doesn't want to give because she's 'hiding'. He chases her down and so the story goes..theirs 'ends' yet the whole storyline continues throughout the next 2 books and you see these characters again, esp in the last book though they're not focused on as much as the couple being 'featured' in that book.
