Wonderful story of a woman betrayed while at her weakest physical and emotional time but soon finds herself equally guilty of the same act of betrayal of her one caring friend. I was enraptured by this touching tale. One woman gone for half a century is beloved by those who KNEW yet misunderstood by most others. Only One woman knows the real Kate Watkins and her own grandchild only feels shame and fear due to Kate's sordid reputation. I too was swept up in the diaries of a 12 year old charmer and the diaries of a woman of passion and loving dedication. Kate's story of riches to ruin. The Watkins family lost everything except this little enchanted cabin on the creek where love and catch and release are the rule. I truly loved Kate and "Time is a River" and was happy to have spent nine hours with these remarkable women of the river..
