A Killer Campaign â NYPD Captain Bill Donovan has the dubious honor of standing in for the mayor to welcome presidential candidate Pete Bennett to the city at a waterfront gala. Next morning, Donovan trades his tux to deliver some bad news to Bennett: his campaign manager was murdered during the evening's festivities. â The victim was decidedly unpopular, and the long list of suspects includes a stunning supermodel, a talented videographer, plus an odd assortment of less polished characters. Donovan shuffles through a deck stacked with political mischief, strange bedfellows and environment hanky-panky -- searching for a cold killer who is already proving that politics can be murder.
