I have to agree with Sarah H. that the hero of this book seemed more like an unfeeling, narcissitic boob! I don't understand why the heroine would still want him after he abruptly abandoned her 10 years earlier a short time before their wedding without asking her to explain herself when he found her in what he saw as a compromising condition. He should have at least socked the guy who was molesting her instead of believing she was having a torid love affair behind his back based on nothing that had happened prior between them. At least his meddling mean mother got her comeuppance in the end!!
