Carrie Rushton, newly elected president of "Friends of the Library" is the number one suspect in the murder of her very unlikable husband. Lindsey Norris, head librarian does not believe Carrie guilty and sets out to "help". In the meantime there is one individual very upset at the outcome of the library's election and holds Lindsey responsible. Lindsey is plagued by ominous phone calls and a near miss accident. When the town is hit by a nor'easter attention is diverted to digging out the town from the murder investigation. Enter into the fray, a lovable abandoned puppy! I was able to figure out who the murderer was, but this was a much better addition to the series than the first book was. I will be reading the next book in the series as I really liked this one......
