I know J.D. Robb bashing has become popular, but I have to tell you, I still love the "Eve Dallas" stories. I enjoyed seeing Eve and Roarke thrown outside of their comfort zones. NEW YORK TO DALLAS was more about Eve and Roarke's growth as a couple. You could feel the pain that Eve, as well as Roarke, go through as well as the unbelievable love and understanding between them. The strength it takes to make herself look at Isaac McQueen objectively. How she fights to keep control throughout the ordeal. Not only of McQueen, but of the one woman from her past who had hurt her more than any other.

Don't wait one minute to grab this latest "In Death " installment and follow Eve and Roarke to Dallas, Texas where Eve comes face to face with a clever and violent pedophile and a piece of her past that shocks her to the core, but can't put her off her stride. I have never followed a series where the 33rd book is just as good, if not better than the first.
