The great thing about Choose Your Own Adventure books is that you can read it over and over again, and literally get a different story everytime-- because YOU are choosing the path! It's brilliant. And out of all of the CYOA I read, this story was best, by leaps and bounds.

The main character is "you", the reader, but clearly in the pictures a cute petite blond from medieval times, who wishes to save her village from dehydration because of a drought and tainted well water. The only way is to find a unicorn horn to purify it. But, what will happen? How many different ways can it go? Will she succeed? Will she die? That, dear reader, is up to you, depending on which path you choose to take...
