Book Description: "Ariana MacLeod is busy getting her Nebraska ranch ready for sale when a stranger's truck hits her prized Angus. Hoping to avoid a lawsuit, Braxton Ambrose insists on repaying her in work around the property. Although Ariana has grown to believe her mother's warnings about the MacLeod women's bad luck with men, handsome Brax's presence feels very welcome, especially when her ranch is mysteriously vandalized.~~~~~~~Brax's freewheeling life has left no room for settling down. But on beautiful Ariana's ranch he feels at home for the very first time. Discovering that someone is sabotaging her property is the perfect reason to stay a little longer, and their mutual attraction explodes into a sizzling affair. But when tragedy strikes the ranch and Ariana blames him, will Brax be able to convince her he'll be by her side today, tomorrow and forever after?"~~~~~~~This is the first novel I've read by Ms. Kim Louise. I picked this up because I've never read one of her novels and the cover was quite appealing. Unforunatley, I found this novel to be quite dull. For one thing, it took way too long to get to the point. It was definitely NOT a page-turner! So, many times I wanted to put this book down, but I kept reading, because one, I'm not a quitter and two, I was hoping it would get better. Everything about this novel was simply slow-paced. The romance between Ari and Brax was very heated and intense, ONCE it finally happened. However, it just wasn't HOT enough to carry the weak storyline. The characters didn't really strike any accord with me, in short the novel just didn't inspire or move me at all. I was not impressed with Ms. Louise's writing style and I couldn't wait for the story to finally be over. And I never did get the meaning of the title, after all that reading, I'm stilling wondering!
