Gavin had given his heart to the beauty of Alice Valence. But his vows he made to Judith. His first sight of Judith on their wedding day rocked him to his very soul. At the flower vedecked altar, the first touch of their hands ignited an all-consuming passion. Gavin looked deep into her golden eyes, stroked her rich Auburn hair, and burned with desire for her...but his heart had been pledged to another. Judith was mesmerized by this God that she had married. Her heart beat rapidly and she tingled with excitement of what could be. Then he had turned his eyes on another and the look he gave this one fired Judith's blood to boiling. She retreated to the garden for privacy, and hidden from vue she was present when her Gavin pronouned to his Alice that he could never love another.
Judith resolved to hat this husband who took her body but rejected her love. Destiny held sway over Judith's fate and a Love that would test Gavin and Judith.
