This is a great book! When my girls were little we would read a story every night of December until Christmas from this book, or the other volume(we alternated books every year). The girls came to know the stories and eventually the older one would read to the younger one and me. It is a great gift for a family with young children. My girls looked forward to hearing the stories year after year and each had their favorite stories. It was a lovely tradition. I hope to give each one a book when they have their first born.
