Great book full of many different real life stories of mothers and their struggles and successcess in breastfeeding their children. The stories are interwoven with Behrmann's detailed research on women in our culture and breastfeeding. The stories represent a very broad view of breastfeeding beliefs and practices. This is not necessarliy a "lactivist" view, but a very candid and reveling glimps into many different segments of the breastfeeding mothers.
