Dangerous Master (Masters of Desire, Bk 3)

This book had a split personality for me. You had the side you expected to get, that of BDSM, vampirism and romance...but then it had a whole other side of Mandy's PI business that left me scratching my head wondering why the two were even in the same book together.

On the PI side, I think the author was trying for a comedic levity that just didn't work for me. For Mandy being dubbed the 'bulldog' of the PI world, the slapstick antics of her and her friend were naive and left me wondering how she remained in business.

On other side of this story, this was very light BDSM compared to some others I've read. Aside from Zane needing to feed there are very little vampire traits/powers introduced in the story (Zane could've been a human Dom if you took out the feeding).

This is book 3 of 3, so maybe it wasn't meant to be read as a standalone.
