This is a really good book of recipes with many color photographs and menu suggestions. Recipes serve two, but it would be good for a single person who would like to make one meal for now and one for later. The first part of the book is devoted to recipes that are fast--even including such exotic, but fast and easy recipes such as Individual Brownie Alaskas, Steak Stroganoff, Broiled Zucchini, Banana Fondie Fritters and Quick Cheese Fondue. One chapter is devoted to "inventive dinners that make the most of a little money". One chapter features menus and foods for special occasions.
