In the fourth installment of the DEMON TRAPPERS SERIES, and the final, Riley Blackthorne accompanies Denver Beck back to his hometown. His mom is dying and he needs to say goodbye and take care of her personal belongings. He doesn't want Riley with him; he doesn't want her to see how the town treats him. Beck's been running from his past for a long time and he hardly ever speaks about it.

When the truth arises, Beck worries that Riley will turn her back on him. She doesn't but she does give him some advice; face the past so you can move fresh into the future. He does just that, but it gets him kidnapped. Riley looks tirelessly for him and finally succeeds. When she professes her love for him, Beck puts her on a bus back home and she worries he will never want to speak with her again.

Once home, Riley is yanked from her dreams by the fallen angel Ori. He owns her soul from a previous large battle and now he's putting her to work. He is to slay Lucifer's enemies and he wants Riley to be his second. It's exhausting work and at times, horrific. She knows she can't continue this way, but without her soul, she has no choice. What she doesn't know is that Ori is training her for a battle about to commence - a battle he hopes she survives.

With almost non-stop action, a love story that is about to bloom and an age-old mystery solved, FORETOLD is the best of the series! Riley and Beck make some heart-wrenching decisions, and their characters really shine in this installment. The plot unfolds at a steady pace, leaving this reader hard-pressed to put the book down. If you enjoy an excellent paranormal young adult read with memorable characters and exceptional writing, you wont' want to miss this series!
