This is the first book I have read from the "Time Passages" series, and I really enjoyed it. Richard Lambert is a recent widower who travels to England to visit the place where his late wife Lucy believed his ancestors were from. While visiting the old castle ruins, he suffers an accident and awakens in the body of a cruel, young ancestor (Richard de Lambert) in the 13th century, mortally wounded after a battle, in a place where there is no pain medication and the stench of unwashed bodies is overwhelming...also Richard de Lambert's wife Eleanor is the spitting image of Lucy. I will be looking for the other books, although they are written by different authors.
