IT WAS FURY AT FIRST SIGHT
Forty-eight hours after Kellian York arrives in Loving, Texas, the brothel he inherited is reduced to smoldering ashes. The Legion for Decency, an eccentric group of busybodies determined to rid the town of drinking, gambling, and "loose women," is only too happy to take credit for the torching. Kellian is determined to make them pay - and who better than the group's stiff-necked spinster leader, Annie Muldoon? But the beautiful, barefoot girl is not the Annie Muldoon Kell expected. Too charitable for her own good, Annie allows Kell and his "soiled doves" to take up residence in her boarding house. Secretly, however, she plans to set them on the path to righteousness...
AND THE THEY FELL IN LOVE
Annie soon realizes she's made the biggest mistake of her life. Her friends side against her and accidents plague the effort to rebuild the brother - worst of all, the sinfully tempting Kellian York begins to haunt her thoughts day and night, as he coaxes free the passionate nature she's tried so hard to hide. Annie can't tell if he wants to torture she sets out to teach Mr. York a thing or two. But what Kell and Annie discover is that "good" isn't always virtuous, and "bad" can be ever so wonderful...
