This book was written by Robert Keppel, one of the task force investigators who helped to track down Ted Bundy. This book details his work with the Bundy case and then goes on to discuss the case of the Green River Killer. Using many of Bundy's frightening insights as a sort of profile, Keppel and his team go on to find Gary Leon Ridgeway, the man known as the Gree River Killer.
It is fascinating how accurate Bundy's predictions were in the hunt for Ridgeway. It is also fascinating to read how close it seemed that Keppel got to seeing the true Ted Bundy. This book is also the basis for the TV-movie called "The Riverman". I highly recommend this book. If you enjoy Anne Rule, you'll like this one as well.
