I remembered this book with huge affection from my teenage years and recommended it to my own teenage son, and re-read it myself. If you like Heinlein, it has an enjoyable, fast-paced plot and there is still a lot to like about this book, but I see now that it is dated and has some questionable racial views. The "science" behind the super-weapon, super-everything that the 6 men (who somehow constitute all that is left of the American military) discover and use to oust the Asian occupiers and tyrants is an interesting idea, as long you don't think too hard about it, and Heinlein gets quite creative with it.
