Star rating--4 stars; I really liked it.

Very good treatment of a married woman coming to terms with her husband's decision to get a divorce. She goes to a mountain cabin which serves as a retreat, where she comes to grips with her life, her husband, her sister, and with herself. She basically re-invents herself and comes to like/respect the new person she has become.
Characters are well-drawn; actions are plausible; and outcomes are consistent with life.
I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone. I always enjoy books by Mary Alice Monroe.
