The first 200 pages were very slow and meandering. It picked up and became a page-turner as the women began to discover that Libby wasn't the person they believed her to be. But in the end, the circumstances and emotions (especially with the men) were too contrived to be taken seriously.
I highly recommend MY MOTHER'S DAUGHTER and THE SURROGATE by this author. Those are yards more intelligent than BLOOD SISTERS.
