Roughhewn lumberman Sam Ferguson had little use for prissy city Miss Elizabeth Caldwell. If he had to cart the persnickety female safely through the Montana wilds, the least he could do was raise a little hell along the way. When Elizabeth laid eyes on drunk, disorderly Sam, the disdain was more than mutual. This crude, uncivilized reprobate was her escort Why, she'd be safer in a bed of rattlesnake! But as danger and disaster littered the trail, Sam's brawny shoulders began to look sheltering, and Lizzie's starch seemed more like stamina. Would the hell raiser unleash primitive passion in straitlaced Elizabeth Or would the lady's lily-white touch tame the hell out of Sam?
