I found this 2nd installment of the series much more graphic, which was not to my taste. However, the suspense still kept me reading. It was a good continuation of the characters in book 1, but could probably be understood as a stand-alone book. I look forward to getting to know the new character that has been introduced for book 3.

I agree with a previous reviewer, Dakota was so patient and understanding of Jamie, made a very touching romance angle to the book. Jamie's spirit and courage is amazing. The spiritual growth of the characters continues at a nice pace too.

I thought the ending was too similar to the 1st book, but I don't want to give away anything by saying more.
