On the day that her divorce from her philandering husband is granted, fortyish mother and grandmother Caroline Love makes a decision. Overwhelmed by the endless needs of children and grandchildren, she leaves them the keys to the house, buys a new image and a sports car, and sets off on an adventure. She stops at Telluride in the Rockies, where she stays at the Blackstone Castle B & B, run by dashingly handsome widower Kevin Manion.
The haunted castle bears the curse that while on its premises, one can only tell the truth--so Kevin has a hard time keeping his employees. While Caroline is there, the entire staff walks out, so she volunteers to help her charming host for a day--which becomes six weeks of hard work and the love affair of her life.........
