The "Turn of the Screw" is a classic that has been touted for centeries as a very chilling and scary story---WHY? Don't ask me, becuase I found it very slow and honestly hard to read, and scary! WHERE?! I've seen scarier true crime then this work of fiction so why it is still a "classic" and a measureing stick by which other horror novels are STILL being measured is way beyond me. I found both very dull, slow and period-dated without much horror or even spooky.
