An okay read.

Catherine Land travels to Wisconsin to meet the man she has agreed to marry. She responds to his personal ad for a simple, honest woman. However, there is nothing simple or honest about her and he has no idea what she really has in store for him.

This book was just ok. It had a slow start. I definitely had to pick it up a few times to get into the story. It had an interesting plot and a couple twists in the story that made it interesting. The story kind of picked up in the middle for me and then got slow towards the end. I was a little dissatisfied with the ending as well. I like how it ended, but it felt kind of abrupt. Overall, I wouldn't highly recommend this book. Kind of just finished it to finish it.
