Book Review of Fool's Gold: How the Bold Dream of a Small Tribe at J.P. Morgan Was Corrupted by Wall Street Greed and Unleashed a Catastrophe

I liked this book. Specifically the inside history at JPMorgan around creating the credit default swaps and collateralized debt instruments.

On the other hand, I felt that at places in the book the author really skimmed the surface to try to move the whole story along. I found Lewis' The Big Short to be better about the mortgage meltdown. I found some grammatical and errors which were probably due to using a spellchecker software instead of an editor off putting.

But really, I enjoyed it and found it to be a quick and engaging read.
