To some extent, the mysticism of a completely different religious belief set and culture are what really tripped me up with this book. But even so, I remained unconvinced throughout that there was any raport between the characters. Nothing ever clicked for me and the pseudo happy ending was so rushed that it hardly qualified as such. A few hot scenes, but not the kind that make me want to reading and rereading them again because how awesomely steamy they were. If this is what the rest of Jade Lee's writing is like I can't say I'll be all that eager to ever read anything more of her work.
