Very well written book by the coroner living in Lousianna. He shares twenty plus years of his experiences and also his trials during the weeks after Hurricaine Katrina hits.

Although, it is a bit gory, the way he writes is very respectible. He is a talented writer and throughout the book, his manner reminds you that every single one of the bodies he examines is somebody's Mom, Child, Daughter, Sister, Dad, Brother, Son, Grandmother, whatever, they were somebodys. No matter what circumstances that brought them to the place they are now.

He shares how he is able to determine cause of death, time of death and other things which helps lead the police to suspects and essencially put away criminals, even some serial killers. Really good book. I am thankful that Dr. Cataldie chose to share these stories with us.
