We've all been there - a loved one has a tragic accident or becomes terminally ill; on life support maybe. Someone, maybe even you, says, "If that ever happens to me, just kill me." And what if there is a service out there that will actually do just that for you? If you could afford it, would you?

Alan Gregory is a family man and millionaire who loves living on the edge and taking risks. But this time he's skiing in the mountains while a good friend suffers a devastating accident diving in Belize. He's barely being kept alive, but "alive" he still is. When told about a company out there who will provide end-of-life services, for a price, Alan is very interested.

To say this book is thought-provoking would be the least of it. The reader is led on a roller-coaster ride, along with Alan. The sniper killing innocent people couldn't be the Death Angels, right? Alan becomes paranoid, knowing that either the clot in his brain or the Death Angels will kill him, but who will get to him first and does he still want that?

I'm not 100% sure this book can be called a murder mystery/thriller, but it's still a great read nonetheless.
