But this time he's skiing in the mountains while a good friend suffers a devastating accident diving in Belize. He's barely being kept alive, but "alive" he still is. When told about a company out there who will provide end-of-life services, for a price, Alan is very interested.
To say this book is thought-provoking would be the least of it. The reader is led on a roller-coaster ride, along with Alan. The sniper killing innocent people couldn't be the Death Angels, right? Alan becomes paranoid, knowing that either the clot in his brain or the Death Angels will kill him, but who will get to him first and does he still want that?
I'm not 100% sure this book can be called a murder mystery/thriller, but it's still a great read nonetheless.
