I gave this book 5 stars. It is by far my favorite of the series. Merry seems to be much stronger-willed in this book in comparison to other books. It's not only her will that gets stronger, but so are her powers - or her familiarity with them. This book makes me fall more in love with Doyle and Rhys as well. Believe me when I say that if you've read the previous books in the series, this is a must-read. I couldn't put the book down...both times I read it. Yes, I read the series twice, but there was a couple month gap in between this reading and the first, and I'll probably read it again a couple months from now.

This book offers some real closure to the series and you could stop reading the series here and be satisfied although Divine Misdemeanors follows this book.

If you haven't started reading the series, start with the first book and you'll be anxiously awaiting to see if your next book arrived from PBS or you might just go out to the bookstore and buy it if you're impatient (like me).
