I NEVER read this type of stuff--I really don't! But for some stupid reason I started with "Twilight" and didn't stop until I reached the end of the series. I agree with the PBS reviews that Bella is a horribly bad teen role model. And I liked Jake more than Edward. This ain't great literature, folks--BUT--it's enjoyable in the way that those horrible Lifetime Channel movies are. You know they're a piece of crap, but you have to watch until the end anyway... But if you want an adult vampire saga, watch "True Blood" on HBO. It'll make you want to have a hot vampire of your very own!
