I don't think I've ever read a book where I had such a lump in my throat because the littlest things in it made me want to weep. Just reading the forward alone put tears in my eyes. I found this to be such a wonderful, yet bittersweet, read because you know how Steve's part in the story ends yet the love shared between him and Terri is so heartfelt.

This book was definitely a bigger heart-tugger than anything I've read before. It's probably because I had watch so much Crocodile Hunter when it was on Animal Planet and seen a lot of talk-show interviews with them that I remembered a lot of the stories that Terri tells in the book. I could hear Terri's voice in my head narrating and had no problem replaying Steve's accent. Unfortunately, I couldn't imitate it when I'd read bits and pieces of it aloud to my husband. ;P

If you are a fan of the Irwins and all they have worked on, this book will make you laugh and cry and be completely amazed by such hard-working and dedicated people. I've never been more touched by a biography.
