Not one of Pappano's better outings but much better than her last two. I really liked Amanda the exotic dancer-she's a dedicated and strong willed person, almost overshadowing Rick the hero. He pales to her but he's likeable enough. The plot works and the scenes are realistic. The ending is sugary sweet considering the rest of the book is not. If you like Pappano this is a good one for you.
