a regency romantic comedy, not unlike pride and prejudice.
Twenty is too old to turn down good proposals, people keep telling Elizabeth. But she is far too fanciful to marry for anything but love; and there is only one man who really intrigues her-- someone she has shocked with her audacious ways.
Then her cousin, Francesca, arrives from Spain with a scheme to make matches for both of them with the beaux of their choice. But when the right beau bites the wrong bait, the real confusion begins.
