What pallid and simplistic book! The author does have a writing style that made it easy to read but I hated Darcy. So self-centered, selfish and full of herself that this reader found it difficult to relate to her. The only real character is Ethan yet I couldn't believe that he could care about the person of Darcy as described by the author. Finally, if someone is as shallow as Darcy, I could not see how she could change as dramatically as the author suggests. My feelings about the character development and tales like these make me cringe.
