Where to even begin this review? This is a horrific and chilling case. I just don't understand how these crimes could have continued for so long. When two evil minds blend as one chaos reigns. The torture of the victims is horrendous. An entire family disappears. This teaches us that the evil minds among us are hidden in plain sight. Trusting people disappearing right before our eyes. Makes one wonder where we can be safe. These two monsters did not care who they took as long as they gained. I hate to think that ones life comes to an end over a car or cameras someone else coveted. It covers the loopholes in our justice system. It covers the terrible grief and re-victimization of the family members. Years and years of suffering by them to see this case finally closed. It shows the shock and sorrow of a father who finds out his son is a monster. But.. it shows the compassion he feels for the families of those killed by his son. It shows the monsters lurking out there and teaches us not to trust just anyone. It is hard to review this book because it covers years. However the common theme is the sadistic killers who thought nothing of killing entire families including the babies
