Well let's see, where do I begin! Of course I picked it because it was a paranormal romance. I don't like romance books unless there is a mix of the strange and crazy. Strange and crazy like demons, vampires or something undead. Hmmmmmm.... I read some mixed reviews on this book, but I got it cheap so I read it.

Even though it was an easy read, it did have some moments of "what the double h e hockey sticks" did I just read. The fluidity of the story line could have been done better. All and all the book is a 3.5 or a 4. But it's a good read and I hope there is a second book for Anna Katherine. It was a great introduction to a new writer. AND I want to know more about Allie and Ryan. I also what to see if Katherine improves. If her introduction book was an almost 4, I have full confidence her next one will be a 5!!

Allie is a once upon of time rich kid, with two crazy rich kid friends and a demon hunter in the basement of the diner she runs. Ryan is the suave and hot demon hunter, in all leather (or so she thinks it's leather, but that comes later when she get's more info about hunters). She likes him, he maybe likes her, but guarding the portal to hell in the diner is Ryan's main priority. UNTIL the door(portal) disappears. It gets confusing at some points but mostly because it's like reading in a rush. For some reason I feel like the heroine is rushing through the story and that is how I read it.

Anywho... It's good. Read it and let me know what you think..
