I bought this book just to read Into the Dreaming by Karen Marie Moning. Aspiring writer Jane Sillee lost her inspiration when her vivid dreams of a highlander stopped. When she wakes up on a grassy bank to find her highlander is at the castle nearby, Jane believes she is dreaming. She soon finds she has traveled back in time to 1428, and her Highlander, Aedan MacKinnon, doesn't remember her. Actually, he doesn't remember anything, including the fact that he is a human. Aedan was imprisoned by the Unseelie King for 500 years. His only contact with humans was his dreams of Jane. Now those are gone too.

Usually I'm not crazy about short stories but this one is very good. I always love a tortured hero and Aedan MacKinnon fits the bill. My rating: 4 Stars.
