Murphy told an interesting story with very fun writing, and exceptional characters. I love the dynamic between Joanne and the central characters. On character development and interaction alone I'd give this book 4 and 1/2 stars.

The rest of it was a train wreck. I spent half of the story amazed at Joanne's naivete, and the other half wanting to strangle her. She ignores most of what she should be paying attention to, and pretty much believes everything perfect strangers tell her despite how unlikely it was.

I came away mostly wanting to rub her face in her own stupidity. I'm giving this one 3 stars because Murphy pulls it out in the end.
