Savor the Moment is the third in a 4 book series involving 4 best friends that is each part owner of Vows, a wedding event business. Laurel is the baker of the group. She has had a difficult childhood, but uses that strength she developed from her early trials in life to become a successful pastry chef and owner of Icing, (a division of Vows). She has had a lifelong crush on Delaney Brown, silent partner and brother to best friend Parker.
Being an avid Nora Roberts reader, and enjoying her previous Bride series books, this book fell a little flat for me. I realize that Nora Roberts has a formula with her stories, but it is a formula that I enjoy. This book feels like she really just gave up and didn't really like developing the characters much. It also felt for me that this was just a quick segue to the final book, "Happily Ever After".
An ok read, but nothing to write home about. Dissappointing.
