A fun book for all - parents or children, those who read it out loud and those who listen, those capable of reading it to themselves (all ages). One day Bendomolena, a curious kitten finds a pot and puts it on her head, over her ears. That day Mother Cat has to go help a sick friend - and she tells Bendomolena what the kittens should do while she is gone. "Tell your brothers and sisters to put the fish on to bake." Bendemolena, "Smish on to fake?...bish in the lake?...maybe Mama said put soap in the cake!" So that's what all the kittens do - and that's how a whole day full of directions is handled - until Mama gets home.
