Set in London pre-WWII, during and after the war. Two girls from totally separate backgrounds - one privileged, the other working class - become unlikely friends despite their diverse social standing. Their friendship continues and strengthens during the bombing of London and surrounding areas. But as the war is winding down their lives take on very difficult decisions. Secrets compound their lives as life goes on post war in the US. Excellent read - Christian fiction.
