"Everything Forbidden" is centered around Lord Ethan Rothschild, Miranda Albright, and the tangled web they weaved. Oh, and sex. Lots of sinfully delectable sex.

But more than the sex scenes, Jess Michaels' Everything Forbidden is a story about a woman trying desperately to save her family from ruins, and about a man who ends up being "saved" by her love as well.

Ethan Rothschild is a cad, and while he's honest about it, he's still a cad. Miranda knows this, and despite this knowledge (or because of it?), enters into an agreement with him that has him sponsoring her three younger sisters for their Season in exchange for 12 days of sensual "ownership" by Ethan.

Secret trysts and forbidden knowledge aside, Miranda is also falling in love with Lord Rothschild--a terrible fate as he has vowed never to marry nor love her. How can this possibly end well? Trust me, it does.

Overall, Everything Forbidden is well written, and steamy without being raunchy (oh, that mirror scene in his chambers--wow!). The portrayal of the main characters struggle with their decision to enter into an agreement that could spell ruin for them all (in one way or another) made their HEA one that was well deserved.

I am eager to get my greedy little hands on the rest of Ms. Michaels' series, and would recommend Everything Forbidden to anyone who loves historical erotica or Charlotte Featherstone's Addicted.
