Tony Evans urges men to get off the sidelines of life and get back into their rightful position in the game of life. His use of football analogy will be welcomed for the man who loves sports. In his three-part book, Evans hopes to help men raise the standard and define manhood according to Gods design.
Having read one of Tonys previous books, The Kingdom Agenda, I was quite interested in reading Kingdom Man. Although Im not a man, I found the book insightful. The author not only identified the problems that result from the absence of properly positioned men but he outlined ways to identify what authentic manhood looks like. His passion for discipleship and mentorship are evident throughout the book.
Using Psalm 128, Tony shows how King David outlines the components of a kingdom mans life-personal, family, church, and community. For each area of a mans life, he provides practical ways to live according to the standards of the kingdom of God.
