If you don't dig the whole 'tall, dark and deadly' hero thing - plus a few of the heroines who are deadly as well - stay away. This anthology is not for you - but you probably know that just from the title. Like most anthologies the stories run from great to not so great. There's an ACRO story in there [Sydney Croft, Code Word Storm, with a nice little story with Annika and Creed - I didn't even want to smack Annika this time, at least not often] but it's the only one I recognized as belong to series. I really liked the doubled and tripled plot line in Sheedy's Overkill. Robinson's Lipstick Spy School was a fun send up of spy movies in general and Bond movies in particular, with a heaping helping of 'what do you do when your spouse has a really dangerous job?' coping techniques.

Some of the stories didn't work for me but hey that's what anthologies are for, isn't it? If you don't like it just turn the pages for the next... Recommended read.
