Gabriel Brant wants to expand his ranch. Only the land around it belongs to the Ryder family. The fact that the two families have been feuding for five generations guarantees they won't sell land to Brant. A marriage of convenience between himself and Ashley Ryder seems to be his best option. Gabe's offer has more benefits for Ashley than she wants to admit, not the least of which is the way she feels whenever he looks at her.
