This book is beautifully translated, but I feel that I should mention right off the bat: THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR KIDS. There's a ton of teen-on-teen violence, some of it in cold blood.
Despite that, this is Lord of the Flies for the new generation. The only problem I had was the plethora of characters and trying to remember who was who and if I'd seen them before.
I'm not one to read books more than once, but this is one that I've read at least 7 times simply because the storytelling is engaging.
