Book Review of The Demon Soul (Warcraft: War of the Ancients, Book 2)

reviewed Wooden, faceless characters; but riveting action and decent storytelling make it worthwhile. on + 8 more book reviews

The story continues and the action heats up. Richard Knaak is good at action, if a bit lacking in character development. This one suffers from the same wooden characters as the first, but at least we get to know them a little better. Overall, the story is good and it really makes you want to find out how it all concludes in the last book.

This series is probably only for die-hard fans of the Warcraft universe, as it takes place in the past and requires some knowledge of recurring characters to make out what is going on at first.
